Human Resources, Training and Organisation Development Consultant
Givas is a seasoned Human Resource Specialist with over 20 years practical industry exposure in all facets of human capital management and development. He has had much of his exposure gained largely in the manufacturing industry and also had brief stints in both NGO and leisure and hospitality sectors. He has held several managerial positions during his working experience.
Givas has to date delivered lectures in various human resource management courses to local colleges. He has also facilitated and coordinated corporate training programs to several local and regional organisations, programs which include but not restricted to organisational development, performance management, learning needs analysis, human resource management best practices, leadership and management development, executive skills in human resource management and payroll management.
Other services Givas has delivered to corporates and non-profit organisations comprise labour advisory (dispute resolution, leave administration, employment termination procedures, interpretation of employment laws and Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), representing companies at quasi-judicial employment dispute settlement platforms; and facilitation of the development of several organisations’ strategic plans and change strategies.

He has excellent skills in designing and facilitating a wide range of organizational development processes, e.g. team building, gender mainstreaming, training for transformation, training of trainers,

Evaluative Research expert
Kudzai Makoni specialises in evaluative research (i.e.,program evaluations, operations research, baseline surveys, situational assessments, needs assessment surveys, feasibility studies, etc.) and allied community development services such as proposal writing, building project management capacity and facilitating program or organizational development processes (e.g., strategic planning, program design, etc.).
From June 2000 to date he has been a fulltime consultant, and program evaluations constitute about 80% of the over 100 consultancy projects that he has completed to date. His fields of interest and active involvement are public health (SRHR, HIV management, maternal, neonatal and child healthcare); social or child protection; migration management, poverty alleviation or sustainable livelihoods (e.g.,agricultural projects, cash transfer initiatives). However, he is very flexible and adaptable to fit comfortably in other technical fields of development where social research, documentation or process facilitation skills are required. He has travelled extensively and demonstrated high level proficiency in leading multidisciplinary and multicultural teams on large-scale consultancy assignments in countries like Afghanistan, Kenya (2013), Swaziland (2013/14), South Africa, Zambia (2014/15), Mozambique, Eritrea, Botswana (2010), Senegal and Ethiopia (2008), Malawi (2015), Rwanda (2017).
Mr R. Marange is a Data Management and Analytics Solutions Specialist, and has worked in the Research for over 5 years covering Retail audit, Financial analysis, food security and food assistance, Brand Audits, Market intelligence studies, Evaluation Studies, Feasibility studies, Censuses just to mention a few. He has worked on as many as over 150 consulting assignments both qualitative and quantitative as key personnel.
He holds Master of commerce in Information systems, Bsc Honours Management Information Systems and Global health monitoring and evaluation certificate. Russell has a detailed knowledge of performance measures and metrics, Data Architecture (Generic and Industry specific), Data Governance, Security, and Quality, Database Administration, Data Management Security, Data Visualisation and Communication, Performance Management Strategy, Key Performance Indicator Metrics and Reporting, Business Intelligence Strategy, Analytics Strategy, Analytics Delivery,Model/Integration Analytics Reporting/Interaction, Training and Development monitoring and evaluation frameworks, having dealt more on Retail auditing, USAID projects and World Bank enterprise surveys. Recently he has focused on business intelligence frameworks, developing the data collection methodology, data security plan, data cleaning plan and data analysis plan as well as the reporting plan.
Russel is involved in project initialization up to the end to safeguard the best practices of data processes. He has produced market intelligence reports for companies like BAT, Afdis, lnnsco, Reckit Benkiser, Lyons, Schweppes, Crystal Candy, Coca-Cola, and National Foods.Most of projects handled by him have to do with monitoring and evaluation, development of performance measures and indicators. He is proficient with many softwares that includes SPSS, STATA, MSSQL, POWERVIEW, POWER PIVOT, SSDT, MS Power point, MS Excel, MS Word, CSPO, Tableau, ArcGIS just to mention a few and some data manipulation languages like DMX, MDX, TSQL, XMLA, SPSS syntax.
Carlington C.S Marowa is a multidimensional social science researcher with over 5 years relevant exposure in the field. Marowa has worked as a Researcher in the Biomedical Research Institute`s Community Based Antiretroviral Therapy Anthropological Project in collaboration with the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel and Stanford University, USA and has also worked with Mthengo Development Solutions prior to joining Khomotayon Consulting Services (KCS).
Experienced in Baseline studies, Midterm, End of Term Project Evaluations as well as Feasibility studies, Marowa has been involved in high profile researches conducted for eg for International Media Support, Fojo Media Institute, Christian Blind Mission in association with Jairos Jiri among other local and International Organisations. With a career objective of gaining and generating knowledge, skills and the most achievable heights of research-based learning, practice and development, Marowa holds a Master`s Degree in African Economic History, a Special Honours Degree in Economic History and a Bachelor`s Degree in Economic History, History, War Peace and Strategic Studies from the University of Zimbabwe. As an experienced yet still growing researcher, Marowa`s research interests include, Urban Development, History, the Political Economy, Gender and Livelihoods to mention but a few.
